Fields of Grace is an outreach ministry to give hope to the children and people of Burkina Faso in Africa. Through generous donors and volunteers we are giving orphans a place to call home in our orphanage. We provide school sponsorship for needy children so they can receive an education. We also provided rice for these children so they could go to school with full stomachs and have also provided rice to other families in need. With continued support we will be building our own school (the literacy rate is only 10%) and will also be teaching woman to read and write. Many people in Burkina do not the means to medical care. Things as simple as educating a pregnant woman or a mom with small children on things such as hygiene and nutrition can help save lives. Teaching the people about AIDS and making them aware of what the causes are and also the treatment. We hope to open a medical center where we can do even more than preventive teaching. A simple malaria shot that costs $12.00 USD can easily save many lives. Our last goal is provide the people of Burkina with a feeding program and also set up some agricultural programs so they can learn to grow some of their own food. And by doing these things we will also be able to employ the local people to provide an income for them. We cannot do this without people who have a heart and passion to do something bigger in the world. And YES, it only takes ONE person to change their world. Won't you be that ONE?
